The single Little Child from Muito Kaballa’s forthcoming new album offers a musical odyssey with a good portion of goosebumps. The song doesn't just leave its mark on the surface, no, it also gets under your skin. While the melody has considerable earworm potential, it is above all the lyrics and the message that grab the listener.
Niklas Mündemann wrote the song in a phase of mental dejection. The approach from schema therapy helped him here: comforting one's own inner child. We have all heard of this child within us. But when was the last time we took it in our arms? The song Little Child is the perfect companion for this, because when you hear it, you immediately feel hugged, pressed and secure. Another highlight are the insanely beautiful solos, played by Benjamin Schneider on guitar and Saskia-Marleen Dahms on trombone.
The album Little Child will be released in early May 2022 on Rebel Up Records.
This is incredible creative, uptempo and experimental/psychedelic music. It's a mix of traditional and modern. Electronic - yet in a way I'm not used to. Dance music!
I'm sure, if you play this at the climax of a Tomorrowland-sort of festival, the crowd would go insane. Taxiclette San
Rebel Up Records is an interesting young label based in Belgium focussing on danceable music from around the world. While generally things labelled "dance music" don't work for me. That, of course, doesn't mean, that music you can dance to can't be good. On the contrary, as these tracks proove :-) Carsten Pieper
